Natasha Smith

Natasha joined Meridian in January 2018. She is a qualified accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with over 20 years’ experience providing tax advice to high net worth individuals and their businesses.

Natasha’s experience includes tax planning at shareholder level for succession, exits, mergers, demergers, acquisitions and investments, including advising if direct investments in companies qualify for EIS/SEIS reliefs.

Natasha also advises on SDLT matters, including whether the 3% surcharge applies on acquisitions by individuals, companies or trustees.

Natasha has significant experience in dealing with HMRC regarding settlements/winding up of Employee Benefit Trusts and Employer Financed Retirement Benefit Schemes.
