Emily Hawley - Meridian Private Client Solicitors

Our People

Emily joined Meridian in November 2025 as a Chartered Legal Executive. She has been working in private client law since 2016, starting her career as a legal secretary.

She studied Law at the University of Sheffield, graduating in 2015, before going on to obtain a specialist Paralegal qualification in 2019. She then qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and Probate Practitioner in December 2023.

Emily has experience in a range of private client areas including drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, dealing with Deputyship applications and administering estates. She has experience dealing with both probate and intestacy administrations with varying degrees of complexity, including both taxable and non-taxable estates.

Emily’s main interest outside of work is keeping active. She trains as an aerialist, enjoys long hikes and is working towards taking part in several fitness competitions in the near future.
