Changes to taxation of non-UK domiciled individuals
The Spring Budget included proposals to significantly change the taxation of individuals who are not domiciled in the UK, the so-called “non-doms”. Even though this was trailed in the Press shortly before the Budget, this came as a surprise to almost everyone as the Government had previously rejected further change to the non-dom tax regime.
