10 take on 10 mile hill walk

This weekend, nine Meridian team members (plus guest) took on the Long Mynd in Shropshire to help raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice Foundation in Worcestershire.

The walk, held in memory of late colleague Lisa Whitehouse, included two long uphill sections resulting in 565 metres of ascent and was completed in under five hours.

Jordan Jackson, Senior Tax Manager and walk coordinator, said, “Lisa had links to St Richard’s Hospice and our team was keen to help support them. At this time of year, the walk was challenging enough whilst being rewarding. It was a great first experience of Shropshire’s outstanding scenery and autumn colours for many of us, and an enjoyable way to raise funds for a very worthy cause”.
